This year I had the opportunity to visit several European cities through the DiscoverEU program. It was a valuable experience, but I came to realize that I feel most fulfilled when I’m surrounded by nature. That’s why next year, I plan to focus on hiking and wild camping in some of Europe’s most stunning landscapes — including the Lofoten Islands, the Norwegian fjords, and the north of Sweden. I am completely open to everything else. My goal is to visit some less-visited cities, because I believe they are worth exploring. By more popular cities, I mean Paris, Berlin, Rome, etc. I would definitely like to visit some important monuments, go for a walk in the park, or just stroll around the city and visit some nice restaurants and relax. I've been looking for something for a while now, and the places that interest me the most are: Frankfurt, Lyon, Turin, and Innsbruck. If you're from there or are also traveling there, it would be great to arrange a meeting and get together (if I go there obviously:)) And it would be great to go hiking near cities like Innsbruck. Hi, my name is Lucas, I'm French and I'm looking for some travel companions for the month of October/November! I have 2 travels plans, the first would be to do Lapland, a stop in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Berlin, Brussels and Amsterdam. On the program, therefore, visit the main capitals of northern Europe, and enjoy each stop for about 3 days. Being a hiking fan, it's possible that I take a day to go on a getaway, so if in addition I can have a hiking companion! The second itinerary would be a tour of the Alps, stopping in most of the Swiss lakeside towns, (Zurich, Luzern, Interlaken) then see the Dolomites in Bolzano, after which we would go up to see the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Then we continue to Budapest for a few days and go to Croatia, first to Zagreb and then to the Croatian coast in Rijeka. Then go back up to Italy to Trieste and Venice then go down to Sicily by night train, a few days in Palermo, and then go see Etna and climb it from Catania. And then return to France stopping once in Florence, a magnificent city apparently!! Sunnier but the hikes are more mountainous, these are two nice routes, the second contains a bit of beach too which can be nice! To finish I introduce myself a little so that you can form an opinion about me. I really like music, mainly rap and the French touch, I like gaming, photography, I am an amateur/semi-pro photographer (if you are nice you will leave with the gallery full of very good quality souvenirs ahah) I really like coffee, and I really like to laugh, I have a little trouble being comfortable at first but everything gets better with time.
